How to Specify Fruit Puree Line Capacity

Specify fruit input, recovered puree, operating hours and filling output separately. Build a capacity brief that can be compared across machinery quotations.

Distinguish fruit input from useful puree

Whole-fruit input includes stones, peel and screening rejects. Recovered puree is measured after the agreed separation boundary. Do not turn a catalogue input reference into a finished-puree guarantee. Define where each amount is measured and keep additions in a separate account.

State operating time and interruptions

Daily output does not establish instantaneous machine duty. Include production hours, product changes, cleaning and expected pauses. The thermal section and bag filler need a stable supply even when upstream preparation or package handling varies.

Keep mass, volume and batch size separate

State whether the requirement is in kg/h, L/h, useful batch volume or filled packages per shift. A mass-to-volume conversion needs the actual product basis. Vessel volume is not a continuous throughput. Unknown recovery values can remain open rather than being guessed.
