Incoming material

Recovered or prepared puree under the specified temperature and product condition.

Outgoing material

Puree supplied to the next process at the required inlet condition.

Inside the duty

How it works

A usable vessel level separates short feed variations from the next machine demand. The transfer arrangement moves product onward through its selected pipework. Holding volume, residence, pump inlet conditions and the downstream operating sequence must be considered together.

Selection conditions

Identify the required hold time and how product will be kept consistent while it waits. Pump technology, connection bore and operating duty must be matched to the puree; the assembly image does not identify a standalone pump model or unrestricted solids capability.

Connect the machine

Coordinate levels and start/stop signals with the preceding pulper or mixer and the next thermal system. Include overflow prevention, drain and sampling connections and the return route used during cleaning or an interrupted production sequence.

Cleaning and maintenance

Review draining at the vessel bottom, seals, dead legs and transfer lines. If agitation or temperature control is selected, include its access and cleaning surfaces in the agreed maintenance plan.
