Apple and pear puree
Plan apple and pear puree around core, seed and peel decisions, then refining, thermal treatment and bulk filling. See what the mango line cannot do.
Berry fruit is fragile and its seeds are part of the separation problem. Define both before choosing a screen or a downstream package.

| Decision | What to define | Equipment consequence |
|---|---|---|
| Receiving | Berry type, fragility, stems and damage | Washing and handling must be reviewed for the actual fruit, not copied from mango |
| Seed / skin | Size, shape, acceptable fragments and target | Screen and working arrangement need a representative trial |
| Air | Foam, entrained air and the required measurement | Deaeration is conditional and needs a defined sampling point |
| Preservation | Frozen, aseptic or another defined route | Treatment, filling and package validation form one boundary |
A project-review framework, not a claim of a universal berry line, seedless performance or a validated preservation process.
These requirements describe the puree ingredient and its equipment interfaces. The final food formulation and production process have their own scope.
Berries are not automatically suited to a brush-roller washer or to the manual mango preparation conveyor. Handling, inspection and transfer need to limit physical damage and uncontrolled juice loss. The pictured mango destoner does not establish berry preparation, and the presence of a washer in the catalogue is not a claim that one arrangement suits every soft fruit.
A pulper and refiner can separate coarse fractions, but berry seed size and shape, skin condition and pulp behaviour determine what passes through a screen. Small seeds may remain in the accepted stream. A seedless claim needs a defined method and a representative trial, not a machine label or an assumed aperture.
Homogenization can fragment seeds and change the visible fruit structure. It is not a default berry step and it does not replace seed removal. If a smoother or more uniform product is required, compare untreated and treated samples and inspect the product for seed fragments before accepting the change.
Foaming or air pickup may justify a deaeration review when a measurable requirement exists. Thermal treatment and filling are selected around the preservation route; the filler does not create an aseptic process by itself. The product, package, transfer and validation boundary must be assessed together.
A berry application can start with a short material and product description. The following details make the preparation and refining review more useful.
No. We cannot guarantee a seedless berry puree. Seed size, shape, fruit condition and the proposed screen set require a representative trial. A machine alone does not establish a seedless result, and small seeds may pass an opening that removes larger material.
Not automatically. The washer page describes a brush-roller arrangement for suitable firm fruit; fragile berries need a separate handling and washing review. The catalogue does not present it as a universal berry washer.
No. Homogenization can fragment seeds rather than remove them. Seed and skin separation belongs to preparation and screening; any later shear duty needs its own product comparison.

Recover puree from prepared fruit and remove selected coarse fractions in a second screening stage.
