Texture / Equipment / Application
The questions behind a useful specification.
Keep the terminology connected to the product and its intended use.
Are pulp and purée always different products?
Commercial use can overlap. Use the buyer’s specification and applicable product definition instead of treating the two words as a universal equipment classification.
- Record the intended application.
- Specify actual texture and retained material.
- Check the definition used for the particular product category.
Does smooth purée always require homogenization?
No. Include additional shear only when the product trial shows it is needed and suitable for the required structure.
- Check the extraction and refining result first.
- Compare paired samples.
- Keep fibre and downstream behavior in the decision.
Can I enquire before every numerical target is known?
Yes. Share the available scope and identify open requirements. The specification editor allows undefined optional sections but does not disguise incomplete numerical conditions.
- Start with material and application.
- Keep unknowns visible.
- Use the enquiry to request a scoped trial and proposal.
