Extracted pulp with its seed fragments, coarse fibre, temperature and flow variation described. A retained-fibre product needs an explicit removal boundary.
What should leave this duty?
A refined stream judged by the buyer’s agreed particle and fibre methods, plus a reject fraction whose composition is reviewed. Smooth appearance alone is not an acceptance method.

Variables to compare
Trial the screen geometry, working-element arrangement, loading and feed condition as a system. Compare repeat samples using the same sampling and measurement protocol.
Where selection can go wrong
Screen aperture does not directly specify Dv90, the largest particle or sensory smoothness. Additional stages can remove desired structure as well as unwanted material.
Cleaning & inspection
Inspect screen integrity, seals and the cleanability of the product/reject boundary. Record how the assembly opens and how the inspected screen is identified on reinstallation.
Installation & process interfaces
Provide controlled feed and appropriate downstream suction; account for pressure, air entry, sampling access and reject handling in the connected layout.
