What should leave this duty?
A pulp stream and a separate reject stream. Their material balance and visible seed, skin or fibre content determine what the refiner must actually handle.

Variables to compare
Evaluate feed condition, residence behavior and the offered separation arrangement together. Record the texture entering and leaving the unit under matched sampling conditions.
Where selection can go wrong
Extraction is not a promise of final smoothness. A high product flow alone does not show whether unwanted fragments or excessive edible material are in the reject stream.
Cleaning & inspection
Review access to the chamber and separation surfaces, how retained fruit is removed, and how the unit is inspected before another material or production period.
Installation & process interfaces
Match feed delivery to the extraction chamber and arrange independent, observable product and reject collection. Confirm downstream pump suction requirements.
Evidence for the proposal
Ask for model-specific chamber and separator photographs, material limits and trial samples from both outlets, with all operating conditions recorded.
