Where selection can go wrong
A bag-in-drum format does not by itself establish aseptic suitability. Frozen, hygienic and aseptic routes require different validated interfaces and handling provisions.
Cleaning & inspection
Inspect wetted metering and cutoff components, package interface access and the distinction between routine cleaning and any required sterilization procedure.
Installation & process interfaces
Define the filler inlet pressure, product temperature, upstream buffer, empty-package supply, closure method and downstream support or cold-chain connection.
