Purée with incoming temperature, entrained air or foam behavior and feed variation recorded. Air pickup upstream should first be located and addressed where practical.
What should leave this duty?
A stream whose air-related target is assessed by an agreed method. Sampling and later handling must not reintroduce the effect the stage was intended to control.

Variables to compare
Evaluate product loading, distribution, temperature, vacuum service and foam control for the offered arrangement. Compare the result at a defined sampling point.
Where selection can go wrong
A vacuum indication alone does not prove oxygen removal, colour retention or shelf life. Deaeration cannot repair an uncontrolled transfer or unvalidated preservation process.
Cleaning & inspection
Check access to distribution surfaces and retained-product locations, carryover protection and cleanability of the product/vacuum interface.
Installation & process interfaces
Define upstream air entry, downstream sealed transfer, vacuum utilities, condensate handling and the controls that prevent flooding or unstable feed.
Evidence for the proposal
Request arrangement photographs, utility requirements and a repeatable trial with inlet/outlet measurement and the sampling procedure documented.
